Whose Toes are Those?

HE says that HIS daughter painted them (and HE let her) . . . post a comment if you know who HE is (and if you like the nail painting job/colors). . .

Heather shows us the 'tootie tot' dance

The kids had a fun first week of school and are making new friends. Susan and I are surviving and getting used to the new house and routine. Still some moving left to be done this weekend!

Back to School!

TJ and Heather got on the bus and are off to their new school! Heather has already invited someone to her house and TJ made the sixth graders feel awkward because he is so tall!

Help! We're Moving! Fri night at 6 and MORE at 8AM Saturday!

The kids finally got to see the new house tonight. We should (fingers crossed) be official owners tomorrow, just in time to use the reserved uhaul tomorrow night and Saturday and hopefully get enough moved in for school on Monday. It has not been a pleasant experience in the current mortgage market, but it'll be behind us soon.
I know it is short notice, and we did have the best intentions of having lots of time before school starts, but if anyone can help with moving - we appreciate it!

Yummy Thrifty Ice Cream Cones

The Water'n More store in the Sprouts shopping center has Heather's 'Messy Face' approval for its big scoops on the ice cream cones. I even got some good old 'Chocolate Malt Crunch' just like when I was a kid at the Thrifty on Gilbert & McKellips! TJ and Toby weren't nearly as messy - they just aren't as enthusiastic for the ice cream when the much more expensive Chocolate Chimp Smoothies at TSC are next door . . .

It's official . . . we're moving - Anyone wanna rent a nice house?

Better pic of gorgeous valley below Mt Hood

Made It!

The California wildfires have spread smoke across Oregon, but it is still pretty here and the kids are having fun with a change of environment. So far an enjoyable trip!

Saturday night fun

Returned Missionary Status: Swimming and Girls!

My baby brother, Nate, returned from his two year mission in Brazil on Thursday. Here he is making his first jump back into swimming and socializing with girls. He is a great missionary - he shared a pass along card with the Sprint rep helping him get a cell phone! Heather and Ruby know a good catch when they see one!

Being a Dad is Fun

Swimming, bike riding (with protective goggles, of course), and playing Wii - things I wouldn't do that often on my own, but with kids it makes it fun and they make sure I keep on doing them :)
Happy Father's Day to my Dad, who also knows how to have fun - he gifted us the inflatable ball that TJ now uses as his personal swim aid (and it has worked as you can see in the above pictures - even jumping off of the spa into the pool!) and the blue cone in the pictures that TJ loves to use to squirt people. Anyways, back to my Dad - he's been a great example to me about what is important in this life and putting family first as a priority - thanks, Dad!
Heather is missing from most of these pictures because she has been busy conquering her Princess Wii game that she bought all by herself - she finally finished yesterday!
