TJ and Heather walk home from school together. He says that Heather talks the whole way. They sometimes hold hands - Heather holds mine some mornings when I walk them to school.
This is a bird TJ pointed out in the sky - so we zoomed in and took a picture from the backyard. Once we got the pic on the computer we zoomed in more and got this shot and TJ instantly recognized it as - a TURKEY VULTURE. They can fly up to 4000 ft high and they can smell as well as see their prey, according to TJ.Last night we drove to Maricopa to see our friends, the Gardners, and their new house. We're sad they moved so far away, but had a good time letting the kids play and eating some great Honduran carne asada. Jeff Gardner says the drive/commute isn't worth it - but he hopes the roads and congestion continue to get better
